We are leaping into February and, with an extra day to enjoy this month, why not spend it with us in front of a roaring log fire and our fabulous new set menu full of seasonal, wholesome food cooked with love by our wonderful chefs.
Pull up a chair to enjoy hearty roast parsnip soup with a drizzle of lemon and honey dressing for added zing or our grilled goat’s cheese salad served with roast Braeburn apple and an olive and green bean salad.
For mains, take your pick from either a classic Barnsley chop from our brilliant butcher, Aubrey Allen, served with herby boulangère potatoes, creamy spinach and kale and our secret recipe gravy or pan-fried trout served with prawn new potatoes and a zingy lemon butter.
Puddings are, as always, mouthwatering and, this month they include some of our all time favourites including spiced apple with ginger and citrus crumble and creamy, indulgent brioche and butter pudding packed full of juicy sultanas.
